  • 1 Myeong-Gok Library Myeong-Gok is the nom de plume of the founder of the university Hee-soo Kim. Meaning bright stream, it describes the life of Kim who brightened others’ world as an ophthalmologist and an educator. In the library are the dean’s office, the secretary’s office, the administration center, as well as the library.
  • 2 Business Building The tax management departments are located in this building. There is also the administration office for colleges and TA offices.
  • 3 Humanities Building This is where the faculty research center for Science and Technology Studies College and Rehabilitation, Social Welfare & Education College reside, as well as the administration office for colleges and TA offices.
  • 4 Natural Science Building The Science and Technology Studies College and Creative Studies departments are located here as well as the administration office for colleges and TA offices.
  • 5 G.C.C. Inside G.C.C. is the international education center that handles international students and their academic matters. There is also an administration office, TA offices, cafeteria, convenience store, post office, bank, bakery, optical store, bookstore, fun & sports lab, and a museum cafe.
  • 6 Medical Building This is where lectures and the practices of the Medical Engineering College are held. There is also the administration office for colleges and TA offices.
  • 7 Industry-University Cooperation Center The Military Science & Police Academy is located here for lectures and practice. There is also the administration office for colleges and TA offices.
  • 8 Concert Hall The two thousand-seat concert hall is available for cultural events and performances, and is open to students and local residents.
  • 9 Industry-University Career HQ A space that is similar to the work environment of various industries was created for practical training. The building is used for joint-programs with companies for lectures by guest speakers to enhance students’ understanding and sense of the real world. By cooperating with the central and local government and other companies, there is an increase of government-funded projects. The Industry-University Cooperation Team promotes projects to attract large government-funded projects.
  • 10 Hyeonam Dormitory With 1 floor below ground and 6 floors above, this dormitory is equipped with various welfare facilities to help students relax and fully focus on their studies.
  • 11 Guyeon Dormitory With 1 floor below ground and 5 floors above, this dormitory is equipped with various welfare facilities to help students relax and fully focus on their studies.
  • 12 Bongso Dormitory With 1 floor below ground and 5 floors above, this dormitory is equipped with various welfare facilities to help students relax and fully focus on their studies. There is a movie theater and a gym in the basement.
  • 13 Banya Dormitory With 1 floor below ground and 4 floors above, this remodeled dormitory has rooms for two and is equipped with various welfare facilities to help students relax and fully focus on their studies.
  • 14 Seonhaenghwa Dormitory With 1 floor below ground and 10 floors above, this newly built dormitory has rooms for two and is equipped with state-of-the-art welfare facilities to help students relax and fully focus on their studies.
  • 15 Konyang Gymnasium The sports complex, Konyang Gymnasium, has a 600-seat stadium for games like basketball and volleyball, a squash court, and a fitness center. Students take classes here, and it is also open to local residents and faculty members.
  • 16 ROTC Building With 1 floor below ground and 3 floors above, this building is used to train junior reserve officers.
  • 17 Fountain Located near the G.C.C., students can rest here around the fountain.
  • 18 Footsal Field The artificial turf footsal field located near Hyeonam Dormitory is open to faculty members and students for exercise.
  • 19 Golf Driving Range Unlike other ordinary indoor golf ranges, the environment at the driving range is pleasant with sunshine and fresh air. It is open to faculty and students.
  • 20 Pine Wood Agora This area is open for outdoor lectures in nature. It is also used for exhibitions and presentations by departments or clubs.
  • 21 Basketball Court A place for students’ exercise, this is used for recreation and sports activities.
  • 22 Tennis Court Two courts are open to faculty and students to practice or have matches.
  • 23 Athletic Field The artificial turf field is open to faculty and students to exercise. It is used for the Hansol Sports Competition and other sporting events.
  • 24 Military Training Ground ROTC students exercise here and use it for recreation and fun.
  • 25 Bus Stop For students’ convenience, free school buses pick up students from the Daejeon, Gongju, Buyeo, and Jeonju areas.
  • 26 Chungnam Animal Resources Center As a part of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy’s regional specialization project, the center has become a mecca for animals (stockbreeding) in the 21st century, contributing to the development of the local and national economy.
  • 27 Main Gate The sculpture representing Konyang University stands at the main gate. Straight from the main gate are the administration facilities, Rehabilitation, Social Welfare & Education College, Tax Management College, Military Science and Police Academy, Medical Engineering College, Science & Technology Studies College, and the Creative Studies College buildings.
  • 28 East Gate This is located on the way to Gwangchoksa Temple and Tapjeongho Lake – two of Nonsan’s 8 scenic views.
  • 29 West Gate This is the gate for the school bus, and it is on the way to the off-campus dormitory Cheil Apartments, Nonsan City Hall, and Home Plus.
